George Russell’s qualifying runs on Saturday basically locked in the second Mercedes seat along with his first podium while his BFF Lando Norris crashed out of possibly getting his first win. In NASCAR news, YRB got his second consecutive victory and another superspeedway win at Daytona to take plenty of momentum into the playoffs. The Xfinity race saw another Kaulig Racing victory for Justin Haley as he prepares for a full-time Cup move in 2022. AJ Allmendinger also took over the regular-season points lead over Cindric.
